Security Officer - LV Regional Laundry - Full Time (Horseshoe LV)

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, protecting company assets, and responding to emergencies. The position requires adherence to Caesars Entertainment policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Routinely patrol assigned areas and provide assistance to guests and team members.
• Respond to suspicious circumstances, theft, safety hazards, or emergencies.
• Facilitate resolution of complaints and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee and facilitate training for team members to maintain high safety standards.
• Provide medical assistance and testify in court as a "First Responder."
• Document incidents requiring Security intervention and enforce company policies.
• Respond to areas of need promptly and assist civil and law enforcement authorities.
• Communicate professionally in all email correspondence and support team compliance.
• Support additional hours as needed for various projects or onsite coverage.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior security experience (1-2 years preferred)
• Strong computer skills (MS products including Excel)
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), and a Nevada Driver’s License
• Flexible to work any day of the week and any shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must pass the physical and written testing of the Western Division Security Academy within the first ninety days of employment
• Must re-certify every two to three years through the Western Division Security Academy and pass all physical, mental, and environmental demands as required
