Security Officer Luxury Gated Community

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Luxury Gated Community in Irvine, CA. In this access control role, you will help manage access points, monitor activity, and support residents and guests with professional communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help to deter security-related incidents while working as part of a caring team that leads with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify resident and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with residents, management, and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift
• Schedule: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
