Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide courteous communication to employees, visitors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and visitor or vehicle activity accurately in required logs and reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
