• Position Type: Full Time Mix Shift
• Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour
• Day: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Day: Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Day: Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Day: Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access procedures, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to deter unauthorized access and documenting security-related concerns.
• Verify identification, visitor information, shipping paperwork, and/or delivery appointments in accordance with site policies, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access questions or issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters to site leadership and/or first responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and/or records related to access activity, contractor and visitor movement, and other security-related observations throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
