As a Security Officer Lobby Operations in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as a Front Desk Professional, serving as a welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related access control, visitor management, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests, patients, and staff in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency personnel, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, assisting with badge and key control processes, observing lobby activity, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns promptly.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
