What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Maintain a calm, problem-solving approach when monitoring lobby and front desk activity within a commercial real estate location and reporting unusual incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or access issues.
- Assist with visitor management tasks such as greeting guests, verifying identification, maintaining access records, and communicating with building staff regarding arrivals and departures.
- Answer phones, provide directions, and support day-to-day front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and adherence to site protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate concerns to building management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience in security-related roles is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
