Security Officer Lobby Desk Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the front desk of a financial institution location.
• Greet employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verify identification and access permissions, and help to direct individuals according to site protocols.
• Monitor front desk activity, receive and document deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Answer phones, support badge and key control processes, and provide clear communication to staff and guests regarding entry procedures and other site expectations.

Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
