About the role

As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Driver in Pittsburg, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (for driving positions only).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
