About the role
As a Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or conditions requiring attention.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain required logs, and direct personnel and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$14.00 / Hour

- Thursday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
