About the role

As a Security Officer License Qualified Patrol in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, parking areas, and industrial work areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and support daily operations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
