Security Officer Level III Certified Armed Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Level III Certified Armed Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, document observations and incidents, and communicate with local leadership and/or first responders as needed.
Requirements
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
