Job Description
As a Security Officer - Industrial Supply Site in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help monitor entry points, manage access control activities, and support badge and alarm-related processes. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to control authorized access to restricted areas in support of site security-related policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
