About the Role
As a Security Officer Incident Response in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support for daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established government location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

$25.32 / Hour

- Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
