Security Officer Incident Documentation Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Etna, OH. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position contributes to a secure, well-organized environment while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, access violations, and other security-related concerns through accurate incident reports and communication logs.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
