Security Officer III- Piedmont Geriatric Hospital
Job Summary
This position will have working knowledge of safety and security practices. Working skills in the use of police communications systems and equipment, and in the use of security vehicles. Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written procedures and instructions and to react in a professional manner to emergencies. Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with a wide range and level of people. Ability to assist with investigations in professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Experience in law enforcement, security, safety, and/or work in a position with related experience.
Additional Considerations
- Police Academy Certificate and Certified Police Officer Certificate from State preferred.
Pay and Benefits
Hiring Range: $42,938 - $59,254
Pay Band: 3
