Security Officer I - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of and enforce gaming laws and regulations.
• Complete records using shift activity log according to established guidelines.
• Safeguard assets and provide a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Perform chip and credit transactions, money and marker transfers, and verify amounts.
• Respond to emergencies and notify leadership immediately.
• Communicate with various departments as needed.
• Check guests' identification and escalate issues.
• Greet guests and perform walking/driving escorts as assigned.
• Ensure work area is clean and free of safety hazards.
• Support superior customer service and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma.
• One to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mentally and physically capable to handle emergencies and high-stress situations.
• Ability to communicate verbally using a two-way radio.
• Ability to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to interact with guests and colleagues diplomatically and tactfully.
