Security Officer I

Working as part of our security team, you will play an integral role in creating peace of mind for our staff by protecting company assets, minimizing risk, and ensuring overall safety & security. As part of a team, you will help create a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors, actively patrol and respond to potential threats, and act as a first‑responder in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with coworkers to alleviate potential threats, including taking inbound calls, reviewing surveillance footage, identifying immediate dangers, and communicating with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Serve as an effective communicator (oral and written) to convey information quickly and accurately during emergencies.
• Assist employees when fraud is attempted within banking centers.
• Maintain documentation and provide consistent, well‑written incident reports using an electronic reporting application, capturing observations, information, occurrences, activities, and witness interviews.
• Provide and maintain a safe working environment, actively patrol, respond to threats, and act as a first‑responder as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years of experience in a security function, or completion of Security Training/Certification (Guard Card); or 4+ years of equivalent work‑related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (office setting).
