As a Security Officer Hospital Visitor Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, respectful, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
