Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, hallways, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor screening, directions, and reporting of suspicious conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Support healthcare operations by helping to maintain order in public areas, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital environment.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
