About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in the healthcare industry. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to designated areas, assist with visitor direction and wayfinding, and support a welcoming environment for those entering the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
