Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, graveyard shift:

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
