Security Officer - Hospital - Full Time
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide which sections to include based on content.
Content:
- Overview: description of Allied Universal, purpose, dynamic workplace, team contributes to culture. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About the company". The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can map sections accordingly.
- Job Description: description of duties: serve and safeguard clients, monitor and patrol, maintain visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, respond professionally. Also "Join Allied Universal’s caring, agile, reliable, innovative team..." That's more about team.
- Position Type: Full Time
- Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
- Job Schedule: list of days with times (Mon-Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM). So schedule is present.
- What You'll Do: list of duties (bullet-like sentences). This is responsibilities.
- Minimum Requirements: list of requirements (ability to lift >20 lbs preferred, customer service experience preferred, comfort using computer/tablet preferred, at least 18 years, high school diploma or equivalent, background investigation, drug screen, licensing requirements, valid driver's license for driving positions only). Some are preferred, some required.
- Why Join Us: Smart Tools, Career Growth, Financial and Health Benefits, Exclusive Perks. This is benefits.
- Closing: EEO statement etc. Should be removed as boilerplate.
- Requisition ID: minor metadata, fold into short p or drop.
Thus we need sections: About the role (maybe overview), Responsibilities (What You'll Do), Requirements (Minimum Requirements), Benefits (Why Join Us), Pay (Pay Rate), Schedule (Job Schedule). Possibly also Qualifications? But Minimum Requirements covers qualifications. Could also have Skills? Not explicitly listed. We'll stick to sections with real content.
We must not include sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We need to use
for each section heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the overview text as prose under About the role. Also include Position Type maybe as part of About? Could be separate but we have no heading for Position Type. Could embed in About the role paragraph.
Pay Rate: need a Pay section with heading
Pay
and then $18.00 / Hour
.
Schedule: heading Schedule
and then maybe a - for each day? Or a
with the schedule. Since it's a list, we can use
- Mon-Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
but that loses day specifics. Better to list each day: - Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
etc. The posting shows DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue... So we can parse: Monday through Friday same shift. We'll output each day.
Responsibilities: heading Responsibilities
and then - each duty from "What You'll Do". Also maybe include some from Job Description earlier (serve and safeguard clients, monitor and patrol, maintain visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, respond professionally). Those are also duties. We should combine all duties. The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information. So we need to include all duties mentioned anywhere. Let's extract:
From Job Description:
- serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
- As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas,
- maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents,
- support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- provide exceptional customer service,
- communicate clearly,
- respond professionally to security-related concerns.
From What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to site entry procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
We should combine and deduplicate similar items. But we can list all; duplication okay but better to avoid duplicate. We'll create a list that covers all unique duties.
Let's list:
1. Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries (including healthcare).
2. Monitor and patrol assigned areas (building interiors, parking areas, perimeter areas) regularly and randomly.
3. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
4. Support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally.
7. Respond professionally to security-related concerns.
8. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
9. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to site entry procedures.
10. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
That seems comprehensive.
Now Requirements: Minimum Requirements list:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
We need to keep all substantive info. Some are "preferred". We'll keep them.
We could separate into Requirements and Qualifications? But we have only one heading for Requirements. We'll put all under Requirements.
Benefits: Why Join Us:
- Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.
- Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.
- Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.
- Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
We'll make a Benefits section with
- each.
Pay: $18.00 / Hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
We also have Position Type: Full Time. Could be included in About the role or maybe a separate section? There's no heading for Position Type but we could include in About the role paragraph. Or we could add a short
under About the role: "Position Type: Full Time". That preserves info.
Also Overview includes "Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, offers rewarding careers that provide you a sense of purpose. While working in a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace, you will be part of a team that contributes to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve." That's about the company/role.
We'll put that under About the role.
Now we need to ensure we don't include boilerplate: EEO statement, closing, requisition ID (maybe we can include as short p but instruction says fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. We could drop it. Safer to drop.
Now produce HTML:
