Security Officer Healthcare Facility Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Healthcare Facility Patrol Driver in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time. Shifts run 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
