About the role

As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare facility in Denver, CO, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and help maintain orderly movement of visitors, patients, staff, and vendors in accordance with facility procedures.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.75 / hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
