Security Officer - Grocery Store

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Security Officer - Grocery Store position in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of observation, physical ability, and a state security license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings
• You are authorized to work in the U.S.
• You can provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• A first aid certification is an asset
• You are able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience, it's even better!

Pay & Schedule

Competitive hourly wage of $19 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
Full time, 32 hours per week
Wednesday / Thursday, 7:00am - 4:00pm.
Friday / Saturday, 4:30pm - 1:00am
