Security Officer - Global Security Operations Center

About the role

As a Security Officer - Global Security Operations Center in LONE TREE, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by observing the location for security-related concerns, providing directions and assistance, and escalating issues according to post instructions.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Ability to work in a professional environment.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to observe and report security-related concerns.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
