Security Officer Gated Townhome Community

About the Role

As a Security Officer at a gated town-home community in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a welcoming residential environment. You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while helping deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or service providers entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and incident records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.
