$19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting arrivals, departures, and other site-related events.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
