Security Officer Full Time Warehouse

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while documenting observations and responding to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
