Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Detroit, MI. In this role, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer, you will create a welcoming first impression while supporting a professional, secure environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, verify credentials, and direct guests in accordance with site-specific procedures
• Maintain an organized front desk area, document visitor activity and incidents, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Access control/badge experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
