About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in Honolulu, HI, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a controlled, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense business location by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials as required, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Receive and direct visitors, deliveries, and incoming communications while providing professional assistance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Support security-related operations by observing and reporting unusual activity, policy concerns, and access-control issues to site leadership.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance (C103) is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
