Job description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Warehouse Patrol in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Position details

  • Position type: Full Time
  • Pay rate: $21.09 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial logistics location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws).
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
