As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time. Shifts run 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
