As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Documentation in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare. In this unarmed patrol role you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security‑related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and reporting of unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
