As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Checks in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Help support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $16.89 per hour

• Tuesday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
• Wednesday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
• Thursday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
