As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with directions, visitor guidance, and access-related inquiries while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
