Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing clear directions to patients and visitors.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local laws.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.01 / Hour
