As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare setting, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to routine concerns.

- Tuesday: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
Pay
$18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the facility and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
