As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Lighting Checks at Amazon Warehouse in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• Hold a valid driver’s license (required for driving positions only).

$18.36 per hour

Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
