As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Healthcare in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain visitor, patient, and staff flow in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.42 per hour
