As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support a dynamic data center location. Officers conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a data center location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain accurate entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure spaces; identify and report hazards, suspicious activity, or maintenance concerns.
- Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and responding agencies as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
