Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Detection Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Incident Detection Patrol Security Officer in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Have CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Have a guard card or license (preferred).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.75 / hour

• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM
