About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including patient or visitor concerns, medical emergencies, and/or disruptive behavior.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific visitor management procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate site personnel.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, or at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
