As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeTue02:30 PM - 10:30 PMWed02:30 PM - 10:30 PMThur02:30 PM - 10:30 PMFri02:30 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report events according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
