Security Officer Full Time TWIC Access Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors entering or exiting the site.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and loading areas; document arrivals, departures, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.75 per hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
