Security Officer Full Time TWIC Access Controller

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, security‑related policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Control access to restricted terminal areas and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Daytime – Tuesday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
