As a Security Officer Full Time Turnstile Operations in Gretna, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access by verifying employee, visitor, vendor, and driver credentials and authorizations before permitting entry and/or exit.
- Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, maintain access records, and coordinate with designated site personnel regarding deliveries, pickups, and access exceptions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete clear, accurate activity and incident reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
