As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Console in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health crises, and other critical situations in a calm, compassionate, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of housing areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of the location, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
