Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance Patrol Inspection

About the Role

As a Security Officer in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You’ll monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You’ll contribute to a team-focused environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel in accordance with established protocols.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

$26.90 / Hour
