About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Integrity in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will help create a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors and belongings, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents through a visible, professional presence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals, visitors, and/or authorized personnel entering the location in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and access authorization; direct visitors to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
  • Proficiency in following security protocols.

Schedule

DayTime: Mon 08:30 PM - 04:30 AM, Tue 08:30 PM - 04:30 AM, Thur 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM, Fri 04:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Sat 01:45 PM - 08:00 PM
